Atlanta, Ga. -- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its football players of the week for the fourth installment of the 2013 SIAC Football Season as voted by the SIAC Sports Information Directors Association.

Benedict College junior defensive back Rodney Hall was named co-SIAC Special Teams Player of the Week, along with Fort Valley State defensive back Ja'Bioas Glenn.

Hall had a 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown against Fort Valley State. Hall also had an interception and returned it 33 yards.

Other SIAC Award winners were: Stillman College sophomore quarterback Josh Straughan was named SIAC Offensive Player of the Week; Miles College junior linebacker Julante English was named SIAC Defensive Player of the Week; Miles College junior quarterback Demetrice Price was named SIAC Newcomer of the Week; and Tuskegee University All-American senior offensive lineman Christopher Tolbert was awarded SIAC Lineman of the Week.
