Box Score JACKSON, Tenn. – Benedict outscored Lane 40-15 in the second half to take a 63-36 victory on Thursday night in an SIAC women's basketball game.

The Lady Tigers won their fourth straight conference game and improved to 10-4 overall and 4-0 in the SIAC.

Jasmine Stubbs hit six 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 22 points. Britenique Harrison had a double-double with a season-high 13 points and grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds. Santera Grooms added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Benedict held a 23-21 lead at the half, but the Lady Tigers scored the first nine points of the second half. The Lady Tigers held Lane to just 14.8 percent shooting in the second half.

Lane fell to 0-6 overall and 0-4 in the SIAC. Tiffany Martin led the Lady Dragons with 10 points.

Benedict returns to action on Saturday, hosting Kentucky State at 1 p.m.
