Claflin Sweeps Benedict


ORANGEBURG, S.C. – Claflin University swept Benedict College 3-0 in an SIAC volleyball match Wednesday night.

Claflin won 25-16, 25-13, 25-17. Claflin improved to 14-11 overall and 12-3 in the SIAC. Benedict fell to 13-11 overall and 10-7 in the SIAC.

Arneshia Parrish led Benedict with seven kills. Aaliyah Lawson and Jocolby Brown had six kills each.

Benedict travels to Florida on Friday to play a tri-match against Livingstone and host Edward Waters. Benedict returns home on Tuesday to face Paine.
