ALBANY, Ga. – Albany State University took a 3-0 victory over Benedict College in a SIAC volleyball match on Saturday.

Albany State won the match 25-21, 25-23 and 25-19 to improve to 6-13 overall and 6-4 in the SIAC. Benedict falls to 10-8 overall and 5-4 in the SIAC.

Kiera Brothers led the Lady Tigers with 11 kills. V'Aira Harris added eight kills and had a team-high 12 digs. Ashleigh Reeves recorded 19 assists.

Benedict returns to action on Tuesday with a home match against rival Claflin at 6:30 p.m.
