MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University's No. 1-ranked men's tennis team beat Benedict, 5-0, Monday in the NCAA Division II South Region semifinals at Buccaneer Tennis Center.
The top-seeded Buccaneers advanced to Tuesday's 10 a.m. region championship match.
Barry swept doubles for a 3-0 lead. The Bucs clinched the match with wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
Benedict finishes the season with a 15-9 record.
