CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Benedict College volleyball team fell to Johnson & Wales University 3-0 on Thursday night.

Johnson & Wales won the match 25-16, 25-22, 25-15 to fall to 0-3 on the season. Johnson & Wales improved to 7-1.

Freshman Kiera Brothers had a season-high seven kills to lead the Lady Tigers. Taylor Stephens had a season-high six blocks. Ashleigh Reeves had 21 assists and Alia Gomez had 21 digs.

Benedict is back in action on Saturday in a tri-match at Allen University, taking on Piedmont International at 1 p.m. and Allen at 3 p.m.
