Lady Tigers Fall To Lander, 6-1, In Women's Tennis

GREENWOOD – The Benedict College women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Lander University on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Tigers picked up a win at No. 2 singles, where Karina Izakova defeated Lander's Lindsey Wiggins 6-3, 6-4 to improve to 2-2 on the season.

Benedict falls to 0-4 on the season.

The Lady Tigers return to action when they travel to Fort Valley, Ga., to compete in the SIAC Women's Tennis Roundup, beginning Thursday, Feb. 21.
