ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The Benedict College women's cross country team finished fifth out of nine teams with another good showing at the Winthrop University Invitational on Saturday.
Dawnel Collymore finished 16th overall with a time of 20:24. Teammate
Breasiah Fields finished 22nd with a season-best time of 21:43. She was followed by
Sorenya Miller, who ran a season-best time of 23:00.
Naila Harris ran a 23:53 to finish 38th overall, and teammate
Pauline Cobb ran a season-best 25:14, finishing 44th.
Halle Peniston ran a season-best 27:10 and finished 50th overall.
The Lady Tigers will travel to Charlotte, NC on September 27th to compete in the Queen City Invitational.Â
