COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College Lady Tigers cruised to an easy three-set victory over Morris College on Tuesday night in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena, giving up just 26 total points.
Benedict won the match 25-6, 25-9, 25-11, as coach
Gwendolyn Rouse used the match to give playing time to some reserves and young players.
Kennede Thomas led the Lady Tigers with 11 kills.
Kiera Brothers added eight kills, while freshman
T'Yannah Lake also added a season-high eight kills.
Jade Hollins had a season-high 31 assists.
Benedict finished with 13 service aces.
The Lady Tigers are back in action on Friday against Albany State in a 6 p.m. match.
