ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Benedict College women's volleyball team ended their 2021 season on Tuesday with a 3-0 loss to Central State in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament.

Central State won the match 25-16, 25-15, 25-21 to advance to a loser bracket matchup with Kentucky State on Wednesday morning.

The Lady Marauders hit .362 in the match and had eight service aces.

Cana Smith led the Lady Tigers with nine kills and eight digs. Jordan Reeves and Kaiah Green added seven kills each. Ashleigh Reeves had 25 assists.

Benedict closes out the season with a 19-11 record.
