SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Benedict College women's tennis team picked up their first win of the season with a dominating 7-0 victory over Savannah State on Thursday.
After the Lady Tigers swept the doubles matches, they went on to claim all six singles matches in straight sets.

Shakendra Alston all cruised to 6-0, 6-0 wins. Savannah State falls to 1-8 on the season.
The Lady Tigers, now 1-1, will travel to face Shaw University on Tuesday.
