LEES-McRAE, N.C. – The Benedict Tigers hit negative .095 and Lees-McRae swept the Tigers in three sets, 25-18. 25-16, 25-13, in men's volleyball action on Friday night.
The Tigers had 18 kills and committed 24 errors on 63 total attacks. Lees-McRae also served 11 aces against the Tigers.
Benjamin Attles and
Donovan Wilmott had five kills each to lead the Tigers, now 0-2 on the season.
Terran Walkin had 10 assists, while
Clint Forbes led the defense with eight digs.
Benedict is back in action on Saturday, taking on Bluefield College at 4 p.m. at Lees-McRae.
