ALBANY, Ga. – Albany State took a 3-0 victory over Benedict College in SIAC volleyball action on Saturday afternoon.
 
Albany State won the match 25-17, 25-12, 25-23 to improve to 14-6 overall and 13-2 in the SIAC. Benedict falls to 11-11 overall and 6-9 in the SIAC.
 
The Lady Tigers had just 19 kills in the match. Jordan Gilbert led the Benedict effort with six kills. Kaiah Green added five kills. Jade Hollins had 15 assists. Jordan Reeves and Jordan Williams each had six digs to lead the defense.
 
Benedict plays at Fort Valley State on Sunday at 3 p.m.
