JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Benedict recorded just 18 total kills and had a negative hitting percentage as Edward Waters took a 3-0 victory in SIAC women's volleyball action on Thursday.
Edward Waters took a 25-11, 25-18, 25-13 victory to improve to 14-7 overall and 9-1 in the SIAC. Benedict falls to 8-8 overall and 5-7 in the SIAC.
Cana Smith and
Aliyah Jones had four kills each to lead the Benedict offense. Benedict had a -.011 hitting percentage in the match, recording 18 kills and committing 19 errors on 93 total attacks.
Jade Hollins had 10 assists and
Jordan Williams had six digs to lead the defense.
Benedict is back in action with a road trip to Clark Atlanta on Saturday.
