COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College Lady Tigers wrapped up the 2021-22 regular season and celebrated Senior Day with an 82-70 victory over Allen University on Tuesday night in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena.
Wykira Johnson-Kelly scored 17 points and handed out a season-high 10 assists, while
Camryn Bostick had 16 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.
Ay'Anna Bey wrapped up her successful Benedict career with 16 points, six rebounds, three blocks and three steals.
Ayanna Armstead also scored 16 points, hitting four 3-pointers.

th career win.
The Lady Tigers led from start to finish, jumping out to an early 12-2 lead and led by as much as 17 points, 23-6, before Allen closed the gap to 23-12 at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Yellow Jackets cut the lead to six points, 27-21, with 5:28 left in the first half. That would be as close as they would get the entire game. Benedict had a 37-29 lead at the half.
A 3-pointer by Armstead gave Benedict a 15-point lead late in the third quarter and took their largest lead, 82-65, with just over a minute left in the game.
The Lady Tigers, now 20-7 overall, will next play in the SIAC Championship Tournament in Rock Hill, S.C. Benedict will be the second seed in the SIAC East Division and will have a bye until the quarterfinals and will play Thursday, March 3 at 2:15 p.m. against an opponent to be determined.
