COLUMBIA, S.C. – Benedict College is removing the Covid-19 limit on the number of fans in attendance at indoor athletic events, the school announced today.

All fans will be allowed to attend athletic events in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena, beginning with Friday's first-ever men's volleyball home match against Belmont Abbey College at 6 p.m., and Saturday's home men's and women's basketball games against Fort Valley State, with the women's game starting at 1 p.m.

All fans in attendance must still show proof of Covid-19 vaccination to enter. Fans are encouraged to wear masks.

There is no charge for the men's volleyball matches. Tickets are $10 per person for home basketball games and can be purchased at the door.
