FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The No. 2 Nova Southeastern University women's tennis team defeated Benedict College 4-0 in the NCAA Tournament on Friday morning.
The Lady Tigers wrap up their season at 15-6. Nova Southeastern improves to 21-3 and will face the winner of Saint Leo/Auburn-Montgomery match on Saturday, May 7, at the NSU Tennis Complex.
The Lady Tigers were without three of their top players, all graduating seniors and forfeited a doubles match and one singles point before play started.
Esperance Follykoue won one game against Zala Dovnik at No. 1 singles, falling 6-1, 6-0. That was the only game the Lady Tigers won on the day.
