ATLANTA, Ga. – The Benedict College Lady Tigers dropped their third straight match as Clark Atlanta took a 3-2 victory in a SIAC women's volleyball match on Saturday.
Clark Atlanta rallied from a 2-1 deficit to win the match 25-16, 26-28, 19-25, 25-21, 15-10 to improve to 12-7 overall and 9-3 in the SIAC. Benedict falls to 11-6 overall and 8-6 in the SIAC.
Desire' Young had 13 kills to lead the Lady Tigers, while
Kaiah Green added nine kills.
Jordan Williams had 11 digs, while
Jadyn Murry had 24 assists.
With the match tied at 2 sets each, Benedict held a 7-5 lead midway through the fifth set. Clark Atlanta scored the next four points to pull ahead and then took a 12-8 lead after scoring three more points in a row.
Benedict travels to take on Albany State on Sunday at 2 p.m.
