JONESBORO, Ga – Benedict College sophomore defensive specialist and libero La'Jai Wilson received the Elite 14 Award.
 
The Elite 14 award recognized the student-athlete who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the SIAC championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The award is presented to one student-athlete at each of the SIAC's 14 championships.
 
Wilson has a 4.0 GPA as a Sport Management major.
