COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College cheerleaders are accepting applications for the 2023-24 school year. Applications for the Gold Squad, which comprises of upperclass students, are due by April 18. Applications for the Purple Squad, which comprises of incoming freshmen, and the Le Diamond Pom Pom squad, are due by June 10.
 
The video application must show examples of stunts, cheer, chant, gymnastics, dance, the fight song and Alma Mater.
 
All applicants must have at least a 2.2 cumulative GPA, be a full-time student, have a current physical and proof of medical insurance.
