COLUMBIA, S.C. – Edward Waters took a 3-0 victory over Benedict in a SIAC men's volleyball match on Friday night in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena.
Edward Waters won the match 25-19, 25-16, 25-17 to improve to 6-3 overall and 3-0 in the SIAC. Benedict falls to 5-5 overall and 3-3 in the SIAC.
Edward Waters hit .444 in the match, recording 46 kills on 81 attempts and just 10 errors. Benedict hit .088 in the match, recording 27 kills on 80 attempts and 20 errors.
Ras Jesse Delancy led the Tigers with 21 kills and hit .410.
Kendersley Marcellin had 22 assists.
Clint Forbes recorded eight digs.
The Tigers are back in action on Saturday at 2 p.m. against Morehouse.
