MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Benedict women's volleyball team wrapped up the second SIAC Crossover with a 3-0 sweep over Kentucky State on Saturday.
Benedict won the match 25-15, 25-21, 25-17 to improve to 10-5 overall and 6-4 in the SIAC. Kentucky State drops to 4-9 overall and 4-6 in the SIAC.
T'yannah Lake led the Lady Tigers with 11 kills.
Nyla Troncoso had a career-high 10 kills.
Willow Alls had 16 assists, while
Jadyn Murry added 14 assists.
Brandi Seaborn led the defense with 12 digs, while
Angelic Carter had six blocks and
Desire' Young added three blocks.
The Lady Tigers return to action next weekend with a road trip to Savannah State on Saturday and Edward Waters on Sunday.
