ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Women's Volleyball All-SIAC teams and individual honorees on Wednesday, as voted by the conference's head coaches. Benedict College junior middle hitter
Desire' Young was named to the First Team.
Young was one of the top hitters in the SIAC, ranking first in the SIAC with a .351 hitting percentage. She also ranked fifth in the SIAC with 0.88 blocks per set and was second in the league with 84 total blocks.
She earns All-SIAC honors for the second year in a row. Last year, she was a second team selection.
The Lady Tigers earned the fourth seed on the SIAC East side, and will take on Spring Hill College, the No. 1 West seed and six-time defending conference champions, at 8 p.m. on Thursday at Spring Hill's Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center. The game will be available to watch on SIACNetwork.tv.
