MOBILE, Ala. – The Benedict College women's volleyball team were knocked out of the 2025 SIAC Women's Volleyball Tournament, presented by Toyota, falling to six-time defending champion Spring Hill 3-0, on Thursday night.
Spring Hill, the No. 1 seed from the SIAC West Division, won the match 25-17, 25-14, 25-11 to improve to 24-5 overall. Benedict ends the 2025 season at 18-10.
The Lady Tigers recorded just 20 kills in the match, with
Desire' Young and
Akili Jones notching four kills each.
Willow Alls had eight assists, while
Jadyn Murry had seven.
La'Jai Wilson led the defense with 10 digs.
Spring Hill recorded 42 kills, hit .283, and recorded nine blocks and 10 service aces.
Spring Hill advances to face Albany State in the tournament semifinals on Friday at 8 p.m.
