COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College Tigers dominated Warren Wilson College 3-0 in their men's volleyball home opener on Tuesday in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena.
Benedict won the match 25-8, 25-12, 25-23 to improve to 3-2 on the season. Warren Wilson, a Division 3 independent, fell to 0-10.
The Tigers hit .373 in the match, including 58 percent in the first set when the Tigers committed just one attack error.
Zion Beckford led the Tigers with nine kills, while hitting .553.
Jared Brown added seven kills.
Kendersley Marcellin had 13 assists, and
Cameron Long led the defense with 11 digs.
Benedict will play at Fort Valley State on Feb. 23.
