PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – Benedict won two singles matches in three-sets to edge Spring Hill College 4-3 in the third-place match of the 2025 Cricket SIAC Women's Tennis Championship on Saturday.

Benedict earned the doubles point by winning both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches. Valerie Essome won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, Tanatswa Musabaeka took a hard-fought 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 victory at No. 2 singles, and Carmen Kpadonou battled to a 5-7, 7-5, 6-4 victory at No. 3 singles to clinch the match.

Benedict wraps up the season at 11-10.
