COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 victory to Shaw University in a non-conference match on Tuesday at the Richland County Tennis Center.

Benedict honored seniors Divgurjot Singh and Jason Chigaazira prior to the match.

Singh, playing at No. 1 singles, and Munache Marume at No. 4 singles, picked up Benedict's two points with wins by retirement.

The Tigers go to 10-8 on the season.

Benedict will next compete in the SIAC Championship Tournament April 18-19 in Peachtree City, Ga.
