ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Football Players of the Week on Tuesday, Oct. 6, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Johnson led a strong running attack for the Benedict Tigers in their 31-3 victory over Clark Atlanta. He rushed for a season-high 111 yards on 14 carries, averaging almost eight yards per carry. Johnson scored a pair of touchdowns, including a 29-yard scoring run at the end of the third quarter that saw him run through multiple Clark Atlanta defenders.
