COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College football team wrapped up their spring practice with a spirited Spring Game on Friday night in Charlie W. Johnson Stadium.
 
Head Coach Ron Dickerson said he was pleased overall, noting that the defense played well to start the contest, and the offense played well later in the scrimmage, with several touchdowns.
 
The Tigers used four different quarterbacks on the evening, and Dickerson said all four played well.
 
Benedict is coming off a 10-3 season in 2025, winning their first NCAA playoff game in school history, and advancing to the second round.
 
The 2026 season will kick off on Aug. 29 with a home contest against Johnson C. Smith at 4 p.m.
