Coach Darrell Suber returns for a second year on the staff of the Benedict Tigers.
After working with the linebackers last season, this season he will coach the defensive line.
Coach Suber came to Benedict after serving as Interim Head Coach at Central State University. While at Central State, he also served as the defensive coordinator and linebacker coach.
A native of Washington D.C., Coach Suber was an All-American linebacker at Central State University and graduated with a B.S. in business.
As a coach, he was a member of the Central State coaching staff that won the NAIA national championship in 1990, 1992 and 1995.
Coach Suber is married to his wife, Robin.
