Benedict College Athletics

Jaylon Brinson was named the running backs coach at Benedict College in February, 2021.

Brison is originally from Tallahassee, Florida, where he attended Godby High School. He went on to play football at Southern University, where he was a standout offensive lineman, earning second team All-SWAC honors and a three-year captain. He graduated with a degree in mass communications with a concentration in broadcasting in 2019.

Coach Brinson started his coaching career in July of 2020 at Independence Community College, where he coached offensive line and tight ends.
