Mike Beaudry joins the staff as quarterbacks coach.
He comes to Benedict from West Florida, where he spent last season as an offensive assistant. Beaudry helped the Argos rank seventh in Division II in passing offense and third in the nation in passing yards per completion.
Beaudry started his collegiate career at West Florida, and led the Argos to the 2017 Division II national championship, passing for 3,215 yards and 29 touchdowns as a freshman. He transferred to UConn and played in five games in 2019 before suffering an injury. He transferred to Idaho as a graduate transfer, and in 11 games across a shortened spring 2021 campaign and 2021 regular season, he completed 188-of-301 passes for 2,093 yards with seven touchdowns and nine interceptions, while rushing for 165 more and a TD on the ground.
