Benedict College Athletics

Teri Mills has been coaching for 27 years in Pennsylvania and South Carolina.

Mills, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and raised in Harrisburg, Pa., is a graduate of Benedict College. She received her BA in Public Communication in Journalism and Marketing in Business.

Since graduating, she has worked in several South Carolina state departments, the Richland County school district, the United State Post Office and several community-based non-profit organizations.

For the past 14 years, she has made her home at her alma mater.

Coach Mills is a certified coach, dance instructor and judge with the AACCA and the NCA. Since her arrival, the Benedict cheerleading squad has had two SIAC championships, four second-place finishes and three third-place finishes.
