Box Score ALBANY, Ga. – The Benedict College Lady Tigers fell in straight sets to the Claflin University Lady Panthers in the second round of the SIAC Volleyball Championship on Wednesday.

Claflin took the match 25-14, 25-14, 25-5 and advanced to play Tuskegee on Thursday. Benedict dropped to the loser's bracket and will face Paine College at noon on Thursday.

In the first set, Claflin broke away from a close game by scoring the final nine points. Claflin jumped out to an early lead in the second set and stayed in control. Claflin's Kathrin Fischer served for the first 11 points in the third set, giving the Lady Panthers an 11-0 lead. Claflin led by as much as 23-3.

LaTayvia Mack led Benedict with six kills.
