The Benedict College women's tennis team improved to 5-10 with a 6-0 victory over Spartanburg Methodist College.

Chloe Jean-Charles defeated Amanda Richards 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Glory Zhou won 6-0, 6-1 over Ny Scott at No. 2 singles and Jessica Carswell defeated Jewell Singleton 6-0, 6-1, and Keneisha Whittington deafeated Laura Morales 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles. Carswell and Zhou won at No. 1 doubles 8-1 and Jean-Charles and Whittington closed out the doubles with an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles.

Benedict travels to Memphis, Tenn., this weekend for seven conference matches in the second SIAC Roundup.
