Box Score AUGUSTA, Ga. – Terae Sweeting recorded 13 kills and Ashley Jackson had a double-double of 26 assists and 13 digs to lead Benedict to a 3-0 victory over Paine College on Tuesday.

Benedict won 25-14, 25-22, 25-21. The Lady Tigers improved to 11-2 overall and 11-1 in the SIAC. Paine fell to 5-14 overall and 3-7 in the SIAC.

Je'Nae Saunders had a team-high 14 digs. Jackson recorded four service aces as Benedict had 10 aces. Tatyana Robinson returned to the lineup and had seven kills.

Benedict has a two-week break before returning to the court to face Johnson C. Smith in a non-conference match on Oct. 22 in the Benjamin E. Mays HPER Arena.
