Box Score ALBANY, Ga. – The Benedict College men's basketball team held Albany State University to just 29 percent shooting and took a 63-40 victory on Thursday night.

The Tigers held a 33-11 lead at the half, as the Golden Rams shot just 16 percent in the first half.

Xavier Collier led the Tigers with 16 points, while Marcus Goode had 14 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots. Tydran Beaty added 13 points and eight rebounds.

The Tigers improved to 15-6 overall and 11-2 in the SIAC. Benedict is at Fort Valley State on Saturday.
