KaDeeja Vaughn scored 13 points to help lead the Benedict College Lady Tigers to a 60-44 victory over Spring Hill College in an SIAC women's basketball contest on Saturday afternoon.
Ta'Narnia Chisley added 11 points for the Lady Tigers, who improved to 8-4 overall and 3-1 in the SIAC. Spring Hill fell to 5-6 overall and 2-1 in the SIAC.
Benedict used a 14-2 run in the first half to take a 25-13 lead. Benedict held a 37-19 lead at the half.
Spring Hill cut the lead to 40-30 with 13:39 left in the second half, but Benedict went on a 13-4 run for a 53-34 lead on a layup by Vaughn with 6:30 left to play.
Benedict wraps up its road trip with a conference contest against Miles College on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
