ALBANY, Ga. – The Benedict College volleyball team hit a season-high .373 and took a 3-0 victory over Albany State in a SIAC match on Friday night.
Benedict had just six attack errors out of 75 total attacks to take a 25-19, 25-18, 25-14 victory. Benedict improves to 8-7 overall and 6-4 in the SIAC with their second straight victory.
V'Aira Harris led the Lady Tigers with a double-double, collecting a team-high 11 kills and 11 digs, while hitting 429.
Brianne McMillian had 24 assists.
Aaliyah Lawson added eight kills and
Taylor Stephens added seven kills while hitting .636. Benedict recorded 11 total blocks with Stephens collecting four blocks.
The Lady Tigers play at Fort Valley State on Saturday.
