COLUMBIA, S.C. – Clark Atlanta rallied from a 1-0 deficit and won three straight games to take a 3-1 victory over Benedict College in an SIAC volleyball match Wednesday night in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena.
Benedict won the first set 25-17, but then Clark Atlanta won the next three sets 25-22, 25-22, 25-17.
Clark Atlanta improves to 13-12 overall and 12-4 in the SIAC. Benedict falls to 13-12 overall and 9-6 in the SIAC.
V'Aira Harris had a triple double for the Lady Tigers with a team-high 19 kills, 20 digs and 11 assists.
Aaliyah Lawson also had a triple double with 14 kills, 21 digs and 11 assists.
Majda Cisic had a team-best 23 digs.
Brianne McMillian had 19 assists before leaving the match late in the second set with an injury.
Sierra Scoggins had 19 kills to lead Clark Atlanta. Dariyan Stallings had 30 digs and Kiara Govan had 45 assists.
Benedict is back in action on Thursday night for a non-conference matchup against Johnson C. Smith at 6:30 p.m.
