COLUMBIA, S.C. –
Adrionna Washington had 13 kills and hit a season-high .481 to help lead the Benedict College Lady Tigers to a 3-0 sweep over Fort Valley State in a SIAC conference matchup on Tuesday night in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena.
Benedict won the match 25-17, 25-15, 25-20 to improve to 10-10 overall and 6-7 in the SIAC. Fort Valley State drops to 3-15 overall and 2-12 in the SIAC.
Torcealon Kelley added nine kills and
Taylor Stephens had eight kills for the Lady Tigers.
Brianne McMillian had 35 assists and 12 digs for a double-double.
Majda Cisic had a team-high 25 digs.
The Lady Tigers are back in action on Thursday, hosting Paine College at 7 p.m.
