KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Benedict College men's basketball team jumped into the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) poll, coming in at No. 14 in the first regular-season poll.

Benedict has started the season 5-0 heading into a key showdown with Augusta College on Tuesday night.

The Tigers received 149 total points.

Benedict is the only representative from the SIAC in the top 25 poll, although Clark Atlanta was among the teams receiving votes. Tuesday night's opponent, Augusta, also received votes.
