ATLANTA – The Benedict College women's basketball team extended their winning streak to 11 games with a 98-67 victory over Clark Atlanta University on Saturday night.

MiKeisha Moore scored 24 points, hitting six 3-pointers and was one of five Lady Tigers to reach double figures as Benedict posted their largest margin of victory this season.

Benedict improved to 17-7 overall and 13-1 in the SIAC. Clark Atlanta falls to 8-15 overall and 3-10 in the SIAC.

Destiny Betts had her 13^th double-double of the season with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Shanaissa White scored a season-high 15 points, while Zairra Harris had 13 points and Shirvel Luke added 11 points.

Benedict outrebounded Clark Atlanta 58-32 and had a 19-5 advantage in second-chance points.

Benedict had a 24-7 lead after the first quarter and built the lead to as much as 29 points in the second quarter before taking a 52-24 lead at the halftime break. Benedict built as much as a 37-point lead in the second half.

The Lady Tigers will wrap up the regular season on Monday, hosting Paine College at 5:30 p.m.
