AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Jaguars outscored Benedict 54-34 in the second half and rolled to a 104-75 victory in a non-conference men's basketball game on Wednesday night.
The Tigers fall to 0-4 on the season. Augusta improves to 2-1.
Augusta had a 50-41 lead at the half, and came out in the second half to score nine of the first 11 points and later went on a 12-0 run to take a 78-50 lead. The lead grew to as much as 37 points, 91-54, with seven minutes left in the game.
Davante Wiltshire led the Tigers with 15 points.
Tyrease Mapp added 13 points, while
Darius Williams added 10 points.
Augusta had a dominating 47-25 advantage in rebounds.
Benedict returns home for its first official home game of the season on Saturday, opening SIAC play against LeMoyne-Owen College at 3 p.m.
