CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Benedict College volleyball team took care of business on Thursday night, taking a 3-0 victory over Johnson & Wales of Charlotte.

The Lady Tigers won the match 25-21, 25-17, 25-19, which improves their record to 2-2 overall.

Adrionna Washington led the Lady Tigers with 12 kills. V'Aira Harris added eight kills while also leading the team with 11 Digs. Ashleigh Reeves put forth an outstanding performance, accumulating 28 Assist.

Benedict will host Johnson C. Smith University in their home opener at HRC Arena Saturday at 1 p.m.
