AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Benedict College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Paine College on Thursday night.
Paine College won the match 26-24, 25-15, 25-23 which moves the Lady Tigers to a 4-3 overall record.
Adrionna Washington led the Lady Tigers with 10 kills.
June Hollins finished with a team high eight digs in the contest.
The Lady Tigers were up 24-22 in the first set before the Lions scored four straight points to win the set. To begin the third set, the Lady Tigers scored five unanswered points to take a 5-0 lead. The Lions would then outscore the Lady Tigers 25-18 to end the match.
Benedict travels to Orangeburg, SC to play Claflin University at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
