TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Benedict College Lady Tigers committed 16 errors and had 17 reception errors as North Greenville University took a 3-0 victory in a non-conference women's volleyball match on Tuesday.

North Greenville won 25-10, 25-16, 25-15 to improve to 4-4 overall. Benedict falls to 1-1 on the season.

The Lady Tigers hit -.034 for the match, with 14 kills on 59 attempts with 16 attach errors. Cana Smith led the Lady Tigers with five kills. Ashleigh Reeves had 12 assists and a team-high six digs.

Benedict returns to action on Thursday, taking on Allen at 6 p.m. in their home opener.
