SAVANNAH, Ga. – Savannah State pulled out a 3-0 victory over Benedict in SIAC women's volleyball action on Friday night.
Savannah State won 25-18, 25-23, 25-22 to improve to 9-8 overall and 9-4 in the SIAC. Benedict falls to 10-9 overall and 6-8 in the SIAC.
Cana Smith had a strong performance in the loss with 13 kills and a season-high 15 digs for her fourth double-double of the season.
Jordan Reeves added nine kills and 12 digs.
Jordan Gilbert had seven blocks and
Jade Hollins recorded 26 assists.
Benedict is back home on Monday to take on Edward Waters at 6 p.m. The game is Benedict's Pink Game in support of breast cancer awareness.
