COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College Lady Tigers cruised to a 3-0 victory over Paine College on Thursday night in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena.
The Lady Tigers won the match 25-17, 25-11, 25-19 to improve to 11-10 on the season. Paine falls to 2-16.
Cana Smith had a double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs.
Jordan Gilbert added a season-high nine kills, while
Kaiah Green added seven kills and 2.5 blocks.
Jade Hollins had 23 assists, while
La'Jai Wilson had 13 assists and two of Benedict's eight service aces.
The Lady Tigers travel to take on Albany State on Saturday, and then travel to Fort Valley State on Sunday.
