CLEMSON, S.C. – Benedict shot 27.3 percent and the Clemson Tigers took a 91-45 victory in a men's basketball exhibition game on Wednesday night from Littlejohn Coliseum.

Malachi McCoy cut the lead to 21-12 in the first half before Clemson went on to build as much as a 26-point first-half lead. Clemson opened the second half with a 15-2 run to build a 64-25 lead. Clemson held its largest lead, 89-36, with 4:32 left in the game.

Gob Gabriel and
Gedeon Buzangu all had eight points to lead Benedict.
Benedict will open the regular season on Friday, Nov. 11 against Florida Tech at 7:30 p.m.
